Pitched Roofing
Re-roofing of pitched tiled roof using re-claimed materials.
The process begins with specialist scaffolding contractors erecting a scaffold around the project.
Appropriately sized skips are delivered to the property for all the rubbish to be loaded into.
The roof is then stripped back to the bare rafters with care always being taken to maintain the waterproofing of the building during this vulnerable time!
Sound materials are set aside for re-use, then new high quality breather membrane and pressure treated battens fixed to the rafters.
The process of re-tiling then begins using salvaged tiles, second hand tiles or slates to match the existing ones or new if required.
On completion the scaffolding and skips are removed and the site is left in a clean and tidy condition.
